Located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, HEED International School (HIS) provides English Medium-instruction following Edexcel standard curriculum. The school was founded on 25^th January, 2003. The goal of the school is to provide international standard education so that students learn here how to lead the world in their times.

Affiliation: Edexcel under the British Council Dhaka (90230) recognized HIS as a Private Center (93238) on 3^rd February, 2010. Besides, HIS obtained approval from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka (Registration No.– 87/English/2454) on 15^th April, 2004 to conduct ‘O’ & ‘A’ Level programs.

The school is a project of HEED Bangladesh. It is run under the guidance of  the Management Advisory Committee (MAC) headed by the Executive Director of HEED Bangladesh.

HIS has two Campuses. Each one is headed by a Principal. The main campus of the school situated at Mirpur, Dhaka. The other one is located at Sadarghat, Dhaka.

Faculty: Teachers with high academic and professional backgrounds are engaged in teaching at HIS. Most of them are graduates from the recognized universities. However, trainings in order for enhancement of teaching skills are organized regularly and on requirement for the teachers.

Extra-curricular activities: HEED International School offers a variety of extra-curricular activities. Our sports program consists of inter-class school interscholastic and intramural games and sports for both boys and girls. Sports offered include football, cricket, basketball and handball. Students may also choose to participate in yearbook, school paper and student government.

In addition, HIS organizes annual sports, excursion, cultural competition, project exhibition, art competition, Victory Day Celebration, International Mother Language Day, Independent day, PohelaBoishakh (Bangla Noboborsho), debate competition, HIS Day observation, different national and international ‘Days’ celebration, health consciousness program etc.
